Bianca Buteri

M.A., M.Ed., RCC, CCC

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor and Certified Canadian Counselor with 18 years of experience working with adults, children and families. My passion is to help clients gain understanding and mastery over anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, relationship conflicts, parenting issues and burnout. I have two Masters' degrees, one in Counselling Psychology and the other in Curriculum Development, both from Simon Fraser University. I have also completed extensive training in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Existential Analysis, Emotion Focused Family Therapy and Interpersonal Therapy.
I have worked in a community mental health setting and currently supervise a counselling team of clinicians.    
On a more personal note, I am a mother of two, wife, avid swimmer and lover of all things water. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time outside, gardening, watching a show or audio-reading a good mystery novel (albeit slowly).
